It’s December. That special month with those special magic words. Hanukkah. Christmas. Songs. Presents. More presents. Cookies. More cookies.
Nicole, our Mountain View graduate studies in film lady, took time from speaking with our families and our neverending flower deliveries, to decorate our Mountain View Christmas tree. Her artistic eye for colors and decorations helped remind us all, that Santa, is on his way.

They came. They saw. They counted. Yvonne & Mihaela from the Pasadena Audubon Society trained their December binoculars on our Mountain View trees and took an official account of our bird population. It’s a bird! It’s a plane!

Those seasonal Chinese yellow Ginkgo trees that dot our Mountain View Cemetery are in full bloom. They stem from the Jurassic era and are something to behold, especially as seen against our lovely Southern California December blue skies.

The National Wreaths Across America Day, reached us here at Mountain View on Saturday, December 17th. Wreaths were gently placed on Veteran graves. The names of the fallen, were read aloud. Our local heroes, the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution guided by Grace Van Orden and her awesome team of volunteers, made it go so smoothly.

Save us a space on Colorado Blvd so we can watch the Rose Parade, this year on Monday, January 2nd.
Happy Holidays. Happy New Year. Happy 2023.
Till we look out the window here at Mountain View once again…
